The Blue Theme set has a blue-toned wall, bookshelves, a sofa and a fireplace, and it works for host-and-guest conversations and larger panels. The classic wooden library set is warmer: dark wood, a Chesterfield sofa and armchairs. Both read as serious, calm and conversational on camera.
We use the Blue Theme set a lot for interview-style shows because the bookshelves and fireplace give the background depth without pulling attention away from the speakers. A wider shot of the same set also shows how it handles a four-person panel, with everyone visible in one frame and enough room for a second camera angle.
The wooden library set suits shows where the guest is the star: authors, doctors, finance professionals, founders telling their story. The sofa keeps people relaxed, and relaxed guests talk better.
