Top podcasters in Rajasthan is a question we hear at the studio almost every week, and the honest answer is that no single name wins. Nobody has published an independent ranking of Rajasthan’s podcasts. What we can do is look at the shows people actually talk about, say what each one does well, and show you how to judge them yourself.
We are Oskillo Studio in Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, so we see this scene from the inside. One of the shows below is our own, and we will say so clearly when we get there.
Key takeaways
- No independent ranking of Rajasthan podcasts exists, so treat “No. 1” labels as a show’s own claim.
- Padharo Mhare Podcast began in Asind, Bhilwara, in late 2024. It shows a podcast can start outside a metro.
- Jaipur Bytes (the Jaipur Literature Festival’s podcast) and The Jaipur Dialogues serve very different audiences.
- The best podcast in Rajasthan for you depends on language, topic and format, not on a headline number.
Who are the top podcasters in Rajasthan in 2026?
The shows most often named as top podcasters in Rajasthan in 2026 are Padharo Mhare Podcast, YTMahendra Podcast, Jaipur Bytes and The Jaipur Dialogues. They differ in language, topic and audience, so we compare them side by side instead of forcing a rank.
| Show | Based in | Focus | Best known for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Padharo Mhare Podcast | Asind, Bhilwara | Rajasthani culture and history | A cultural show that started in a small town |
| YTMahendra Podcast | Jaipur | Long-form conversations hosted by Mahendra Kumar | A show recorded at Oskillo Studio |
| Jaipur Bytes | Jaipur | Books, ideas and festival conversations | Official podcast of the Jaipur Literature Festival |
| The Jaipur Dialogues | Listed among Jaipur podcasts | News, politics and social issues | A large YouTube channel running since 2016 |
Feedspot’s Best Jaipur Podcasts 2026 list has only six entries. Shows from Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota and Bikaner may not appear on such lists, so use this post as a starting point, not a final word.
When we compare a Rajasthani podcast with another, we use five yardsticks:
- Platform: YouTube video, Spotify and Apple audio, or all three.
- Language: Hindi, English or a Rajasthani dialect.
- Episode count and consistency: does it publish on a steady schedule?
- Audience location: local listeners or viewers across India.
- Topic depth: culture, business, news or books.

Padharo Mhare Podcast: a Rajasthani podcast that started in Asind
Padharo Mhare Podcast is hosted by Ks Rathore and describes itself as a cultural podcast from Asind, Bhilwara. According to its own About page, Ks Rathore, Jitsa Rathore and Varun Vaishnav founded it as a local initiative.
The story is what makes it a useful case study. Ks had already started a video-editing agency, Ks Editzzz, in Asind in 2019. His profile page says the podcast idea came in October 2024, while he was editing a podcast for a client. Crunchbase gives a founding date in November 2024, so we say late 2024.
In June 2025 he set up the PMP Foundation, which is now the parent body of the show. Inc42’s company page lists it as bootstrapped with three employees. JioSaavn’s show page lists nine episodes in season 1, ending with a Maharana Pratap and Akbar episode dated 9 May 2025, though that page may not be current.
A word on language. Many people searching for a Rajasthani podcast actually mean a Hindi show about Rajasthan. Few podcasts are fully recorded in Marwari, Mewari or Shekhawati, and that is still an open gap for new creators.
YTMahendra Podcast: a Jaipur podcaster’s show, recorded at Oskillo
YTMahendra Podcast is our own show. It is hosted by Mahendra Kumar, the founder of Oskillo Studio, and it is recorded here in Jaipur. We are listing it for completeness, and you should weigh it with that connection in mind.
YourStory lists Jaipur as its headquarters and 2024 as its founding year. The show’s own blog says it started in July 2024 and, by its own count, passed one lakh subscribers across YouTube and Instagram in about a year. That is self-reported, so please check the live channel for current numbers.
On episode count, Mahendra’s LinkedIn profile mentions Episode 81 on 31 January 2026 and, in a later update, Episode 102. That points to a steady publishing rhythm, and consistency is what most new shows struggle with.

Jaipur Bytes: the Jaipur Literature Festival’s official podcast
Jaipur Bytes is the official podcast of the Jaipur Literature Festival, hosted by Sarthak Kaushik and Eric Chopra. It is a festival-led show on books, ideas and creators, rather than a personality-led one.
The Apple Podcasts listing shows that the 2026 season includes Episode 3, a conversation with Vinamre Kasanaa of @dostcast on content creation. It runs on the festival’s YouTube channel and on major audio platforms. The 2025 season covered conversations from the festival’s 18th edition, as the festival’s YouTube upload notes.
We have left out its total episode count because we found no official figure. For a creator, the lesson is simple: an event or institution can be a strong anchor for a podcast, because the guests and the audience already exist.
The Jaipur Dialogues: a Jaipur channel with a different focus
The Jaipur Dialogues is a YouTube channel on news, politics and social issues, not a Rajasthani-culture podcast. It launched in November 2016 and is run by founder Sanjay Dixit with guest speakers, according to Dharmapedia.
HypeAuditor shows about 2.25 million subscribers for the main channel, plus a separate “Clips” channel of roughly 66,000. ThoughtLeaders describes its focus as news, politics, religion and societal issues. We include it because people search for it alongside the other shows, but it serves a different viewer. If you want stories about Rajasthani food, folk music or history, look elsewhere.
Is there a Rajasthan No. 1 podcast? How to judge fairly
No. We found no independent ranking that puts any show at No. 1 in Rajasthan. “Rajasthan’s No. 1” is a claim shows make about themselves. The fair approach is to compare shows on the same measurable yardsticks instead of trusting a slogan.
Quora threads such as “Who is the top podcaster from Rajasthan?” split their answers between two shows, and that includes ours. Anonymous answers like these may be promotional, so we do not treat them as proof of rank. Subscriber counts alone also mislead, because a news channel and a niche cultural show are not playing the same game.
Use the five yardsticks from earlier, and add two checks of your own:
- Recent uploads: open the channel and see whether episodes appeared in the last month.
- Audio quality: listen to ten minutes. Clean sound usually signals a creator who takes the work seriously.
Can a small-town creator build a podcast? What Rajasthan shows teach us
Yes. Padharo Mhare Podcast started in Asind, Bhilwara, not in a metro, and grew out of a skill its founder already had: editing. You need a clear subject, a regular schedule and decent sound. A famous address is not on that list.
Here is the path we suggest to creators outside Jaipur:
- Start from what you already do. Ks Rathore ran an editing agency from 2019 before the show began.
- Pick a narrow local subject. Rajasthani history, a regional craft or village stories are less crowded than general talk.
- Choose your language on purpose. A dialect show like Marwari or Mewari has few rivals.
- Record in a quiet room. Echo ruins good conversation faster than a cheap microphone does.
- Publish on a fixed day. Consistency builds the audience, and it is the habit most new shows lose.
If your town has no studio, you can record at home and still send us the files for remote editing. Our FAQs page has more on how we work.
How can brands partner with a Rajasthan podcast?
Brands can partner with a Rajasthan podcast through a mention inside an episode, a recurring segment, or a sponsored series. We found no published rate card for any local show, so we do not quote rates. Agree terms directly, and ask for proof of the audience first.
Before you sign anything, check these points:
- Audience fit: do the listeners match your customers by city, language and age?
- Analytics: ask for platform screenshots, not just a round number.
- Brand safety: watch a few past episodes for tone and topics you would not want next to your name.
- Format: a natural conversation about your product works better than a read-out script.
- Video quality: clips cut for Reels and Shorts carry your brand further than a single long episode.

Frequently asked questions
Who is the top podcaster from Rajasthan?
No independent ranking exists, so no one can honestly name a single top podcaster. Ks Rathore of Padharo Mhare Podcast, Mahendra Kumar of YTMahendra Podcast and the hosts of Jaipur Bytes are often mentioned. Compare them by language, topic, episode count and audience instead of trusting a No. 1 label.
Which is the best podcast in Rajasthan?
It depends on what you want to hear. For Rajasthani culture and history, listeners often start with Padharo Mhare Podcast. For business and creator conversations, there is YTMahendra Podcast. For books and ideas, Jaipur Bytes. For news and politics, The Jaipur Dialogues.
Which is Rajasthan’s No. 1 podcast?
Padharo Mhare Podcast uses that line for itself, but we found no ranking data that backs any show as No. 1. Quora answers split between different shows and look promotional. Treat the title as a marketing claim and judge a show by its consistency and content.
Are there any good Rajasthani cultural podcasts?
Padharo Mhare Podcast, from Asind in Bhilwara, describes itself as a cultural podcast and covers Rajasthani history and stories. Fully dialect-based shows in Marwari, Mewari or Shekhawati are still rare, so many Rajasthani podcasts are Hindi shows about Rajasthan.
Who hosts Jaipur Bytes?
Jaipur Bytes, the official podcast of the Jaipur Literature Festival, is hosted by Sarthak Kaushik and Eric Chopra. Its 2026 season includes an episode with Vinamre Kasanaa of @dostcast on content creation. You can find it on the festival’s YouTube channel and on major audio apps.
How do I start a podcast in Rajasthan?
Pick a clear topic and language, plan a question flow, and record with a proper mic in a quiet room. You can rent a soundproof studio in Jaipur by the hour instead of buying gear. Our beginner guide for starting a podcast in India covers the steps.
Rajasthan ka famous podcaster kaun hai?
Rajasthan mein kai naam chalte hain, jaise Ks Rathore, Mahendra Kumar aur Jaipur Bytes ke hosts. Koi official ranking nahi hai, isliye ‘famous’ ka matlab aapki pasand par hai: bhasha, topic aur episodes ki regularity dekh kar apna favourite chuniye.
