Quick answer: Raj Shamani’s Figuring Out leads the most subscribed podcast YouTube channels in India, at nearly 20 million subscribers (WME, October 2026). Ranveer Allahbadia’s Hindi channel follows at about 11.3 million, then Jay Shetty at 4.89 million, Bharti TV at 4.11 million and Nikhil Kamath at 2.31 million. Counts change weekly, so always check the channel page.

If you search for the most subscribed podcast YouTube channels in India, you will find several roundups with different answers. Some still show Raj Shamani at 18.5 million, others at 14 million. We run Oskillo Studio, a podcast studio in Jaipur’s Vaishali Nagar, so here is a dated list of the biggest podcasters in India on YouTube, with the exact channel named in every row.

This is a counts-led ranking, so we focus on numbers and sources rather than host profiles.

Key takeaways

  • Raj Shamani’s Figuring Out is the biggest Indian podcast channel on YouTube, at nearly 20 million subscribers as per WME (October 2026).
  • Ranveer Allahbadia runs several channels. The 11.3 million figure belongs to his Hindi channel, not BeerBiceps.
  • Hindi conversation and business shows such as Bharti TV and Nikhil Kamath’s show sit in the 2 to 4 million range.
  • Every count in a roundup is a snapshot. Date it, and name the channel.
  • A small creator can copy the format, clip habit and thumbnail rules of these shows without copying their budget.

Which are the most subscribed podcast YouTube channels in India in 2026?

Raj Shamani’s Figuring Out is number one, with nearly 20 million YouTube subscribers according to WME, as reported by Deadline in October 2026. The channels below are smaller, but all of them are steady and worth studying.

Rank Channel Subscribers (approx.) Where the number comes from Format
1 Raj Shamani (Figuring Out) Nearly 20 million WME via Deadline, Oct 2026 Long-form interviews
2 Ranveer Allahbadia (Hindi channel) About 11.3 million HypeAuditor, Aug 2026 Interviews and conversations
3 Jay Shetty About 4.89 million Grynow roundup Interviews and conversations
4 Bharti TV About 4.11 million Grynow roundup Hindi conversational format
5 Nikhil Kamath About 2.31 million Grynow roundup Business and founder conversations
Rising The Founder’s Dream (Abhishek Vyas) About 265K Grynow roundup Hindi business podcast

Two honest warnings. Rows 2 to 6 come from third-party trackers and roundups, not from the channel pages, so treat them as close estimates. And our own show, YTMahendra Podcast, hosted by Mahendra Kumar and recorded at Oskillo Studio, is not in this table because it is a different size. We mention it only so you know where we are coming from.

How do you check a subscriber count without trusting a roundup?

Open the channel’s own YouTube page and read the subscriber number there, then note the date. Roundups copy each other, and the figures go stale within weeks. We found one roundup that lists Raj Shamani at 18.5 million in a table and says more than 14 million in its own FAQ.

  1. Open the channel on YouTube and note the exact channel name. Ranveer, for example, has a Hindi channel and a separate English one.
  2. Write down the subscriber count and today’s date in your sheet.
  3. Open the latest ten long videos and note their views. This tells you more than the subscriber count.
  4. Check how often the channel posts, and whether clips or Shorts come from the same episodes.
  5. Repeat the count once a month. Anything older than a quarter should be rechecked before you quote it in a pitch.

Avoid old figures from 2024 or early 2025. Raj at 4.55 million or Ranveer at 8.12 million, which you still see online, are badly outdated.

Raj Shamani subscribers and Ranveer Allahbadia subscribers: what the numbers say

Raj Shamani’s Figuring Out has nearly 20 million subscribers (WME, October 2026). Ranveer Allahbadia’s Hindi channel is at about 11.3 million (HypeAuditor, August 2026). Both are snapshots, and Ranveer’s English BeerBiceps channel is counted separately, so always name the channel when you quote a number.

On Raj Shamani’s side, a June 2025 episode with Vijay Mallya reached 20 million views within four days, as Wikipedia records. He was also named India’s number one podcaster on Spotify Wrapped 2025, reported by Financial Express. He has also been criticised for some guest choices, and one 2025 episode was later deleted. That is a useful reminder that guest selection is a credibility decision, not only a reach decision.

On Ranveer’s side, the channel names matter. Storyboard18 has split them into BeerBiceps (English) and the Hindi Ranveer Allahbadia channel. The English BeerBiceps channel fell from 10.5 million on 31 January to 8.1 million on 10 February 2025. So never copy “Ranveer 11.3M” without saying which channel you mean. Subscriber counts can move both ways, and quickly.

What can a Jaipur creator copy from the biggest podcasters in India on YouTube?

Copy the habits, not the budget. The biggest Indian podcast channels win on a repeatable format, a steady clip routine, clear thumbnails and careful guest choice. A Jaipur creator can match all four with two chairs, two mics and a plan. Subscriber counts follow later.

  • Fix one format. Pick an episode length and a question flow, and keep both for at least ten episodes. Viewers return to a show they can predict.
  • Cut clips from every episode. One long video should become a highlight and a few vertical reels. The long episode earns trust, and the clips bring new viewers to it.
  • Keep thumbnails simple. One face, three or four words, high contrast. Check that it reads on a phone screen.
  • Choose guests as carefully as topics. A guest your audience can trust matters more than a famous name. Local founders, doctors, CAs and shop owners in Jaipur are easier to reach than celebrities, and they bring their own audience.
  • Use your language. Hindi shows are among the largest on our list. Few roundups say anything about Rajasthan, so Hindi or Marwari conversations about local business, food, farming or sport are open ground.

On gear, a two-person video podcast needs a dynamic mic such as the Shure SM7B and a camera that handles low light, for example the Sony A7 IV. Clean audio matters more than a costly camera.

Who is the richest podcaster in India, and what is Raj Shamani’s net worth?

No one can name the richest podcaster in India with certainty. We found no Forbes list or audited figure, only estimates from media and content sites, so Raj Shamani’s net worth is an estimate too. Treat every net-worth number as a rough guess, not a ranking.

Bhaskar English has run a headline putting Raj Shamani’s estimated empire at ₹90 to 100 crore. Other sites give very different numbers for other creators, including about ₹60 crore for Ranveer and ₹150 to 210 crore for Samay Raina, and they do not agree with each other. We would not quote any of them in a pitch.

What is documented is the business model. Raj Shamani founded Figuring Out Media and the Figuring Out Academy, so the podcast feeds an education business as well as ad income. The audience is also growing: The Week expects nearly 20 crore podcast listeners in India this year. For a smaller creator, the lesson is the same: a podcast pays most when it supports something you own, such as a practice, a product or a course.

Subscribers or views: which number matters more for brands?

Views matter more. Subscribers show how long a channel has existed, while recent views show how many people actually watch. Brands usually want to see average views on recent episodes before they agree to a sponsorship or a guest slot.

Here is a simple check you can run on any channel, including your own:

  • Add up the views of the last ten long videos and divide by ten.
  • Divide that average by the subscriber count.
  • A higher ratio means a more active audience, which is what a sponsor pays for.

As a made-up example, a channel with 50,000 subscribers and 15,000 average views is doing better than one with 200,000 subscribers and 8,000. Very few roundups compare these two numbers, so a small Jaipur show with strong views can honestly out-pitch a bigger, quieter channel.
